Ava McRae
It was dark, well it was becoming dark. The sun was giving away to the moon, and the stars were coming out to play. The weird lighting played tricks on the teen girls eyes. Her brown gaze tried to make out the park benches. She was here, alone, without even a dog to accompany her. She was also new, so she supposed it was to be expected. With a smirk tipping up the corners of her perfectly glossed lips, she flicked a section of her blonde hair behind her shoulder. In honestly, she didn't expect to be alone for long. The pink clad teen never was. She had a modest black sleeveless top on, though it was a bit tight, and she had a hot pink leather jacket over it. She was not one that could be missed, easily standing out from the crowd. Ava McRae, was not one to turn away the limelight. Her black boots made slight squishing noises as she walked in the darkness. The fading light cast lovely colors in the night sky. Thankfully, the mosquitoes weren't as frequent in this area. Her boot cut jeans were black, with pink fire creeping up the legs, the same pink as her leather jacket. If one hadn't realized at first glance, she was an all out pink chic. She wasn't ashamed by it either. In fact, she regarded those who didn't like makeup and things like that, with pity, or perhaps disgust. Her sister, her sibling, was one of them. Never wearing makeup, never dressing up, she hadn't even been on a date in her life! Roxy, was 20 and she hadn't had a boyfriend. Ava, considered this highly ridiculous. Finally her eyes to seemed to adjust to the light, allowing her to make her way to a bench. Easing herself down she sat calmly, the wind stirring her striking golden blonde hair around her elegant face. Brown eyes stared intently out at the park.

Let's go girl. Rowan said to his Siberian Husky, Skylar. As they got out of his car. Skye immediantly began running circles around Rowan in her excitement. Rowan smiled and laughed. He pulled out Skye's favorite blue frisbee. And threw it. Skye took off for it. As his dog was running, Rowan shoved his hands into his blue jean's pocket, and began to walk the park. He soon noticed a girl sitting by herself on a park bench. His dog came back with the frisbee, and Rowan took it from her. But he couldn't help but keep looking at the girl who was by herself, he wondered if something was the matter. But he had aways been shy around girls, so he knew he'd have to make a stupid attempt to talk to her.
He sighed and threw the frisbee again, deep in thought about what he should do. But then it seemed his dog had decided for him. In Skye's excitement she began to run straight for the girl, it seemed Skye wanted her to play to. He shook his head, and jogged to where Skye had stopped. Her tail was wagging furiously. Sorry. he said shyly. She's still a pup, and doesn't know better. he apologized. [/blockquote]

Ava McRae
The light played along the leather jacket that wrapped around her body, the gentle colors dappling the pink and her black jeans. Her head was tilted downwards and her brown gaze was focused on the grass. Nothing was happening around her, giving no reason to even glance upward. She was alone in the park. For once, she didn't mind it, not that she would turn away someone that wanted to sit with her. Never had, probably never would. A familiar smirk came to her rosy pink lips and her head tilted upward finally. Blonde hair hung over her shoulders and brushed her pink tinted cheeks. The cold was taking a toll on the blonde in her late teens. The colors in the darkening sky were fading, letting the world go into the black abyss. Her leg swung back and forth under the bench, scuffing up the dirt with the tip of her boots.
At the sound of a bark, her head whipped around. Tilting her head as she saw an excited dog running her way. She wasn't a animal fanatic like her sister, however she did like them. Which shocked a lot of people, considering she was a major chic. When she spotted the guy following behind the canine, a smile graced her features. Perfect white teeth shining in the dark. "That's fine." Brown eyes sparkled as she watched him. "I'm Ava" She extended her slim hand in a hello. Dark eyelashes, covered in mascara were lowered slightly and her eyes watched him from underneath them.

Shyly Rowan took her hand and shook it. Rowan. He said indicating that, that was his name. And this is Skylar, or Skye for short. He added, pointing to his dog. He put his hands in his pockets,So..whats a girl like yourself doing at a park all by yourself? he asked, trying to strike a conversation. She looked like a fun person to talk to, but he'd also be ok with it if she didn't want to talk.
Skye began to run circles around the bench, so Rowan threw the frisbee again, and watched as Skye raced down the field. He smiled slightly at his dog, She was so full of energy. Rowan put his hands in his pocket as he waited for Ava's response. Skye soon came back, with frisbee in her mouth, but she became bored with playing and she laid down by the bench. [/blockquote]

"Rowan, nice name" Considering she was a major flirt, this was toned down, a lot! When he introduced the dog, she smiled. Kneeling down, though not letting her pants touch the dirt. Yeah, she cared about her clothes, who didn't? "Hey there pretty girl" She reached out one hand and stroked the canine's silky coat. At his question, she stood up. Her brown eyes sparkled in the dim lighting. "I'm not alone am I? Unless you're planning to run off soon?" A small smile tilted the corner of her mouth upward. Yet another attempt to flirt with him. In fact, she practically purred the words right out of her mouth. Like some cat asking for attention.
Her brown eyes studied him as he threw the frisbee for his dog. When the dog ran off, she smirked ever so slightly. In about five seconds, the canine was back, but this time decided she didn't want to play and laid down for a nap. Well, at least she looked like she was ready for a nap. Ava pretended to give a melodramatic sigh. "Oh well, a moment alone all gone" Though her flirting would probably embarrass him she didn't stop. She just wasn't usually thinking about the ways her actions could effect others around her.

Rowan smiled crookedly as she complimented his name. He then watched her as she pet Skye, and he smiled. Skye seemed to take a liking to her already. But of course Skye was always one to like just about anyone.
I guess your not, he chuckled slightly,But no I'm not planning on leaving anytime soon, are you? he asked curiously. His feet shifted position. He felt a little stupid for asking such a dumb question, but he was never the type who knew much about flirting. His silver-blue eyes lit up as she sighed dramatically, and said something about their moment alone all gone, as soon as Skye was back. He immediately burst into laughter. For some reason what she said just made him laugh. He ran his fingers through his blond-brown hair, and grinned,You sure do know how to lighten things up. he hoped he hadn't offended her someone. But he didn't think he did. [/blockquote]

"Hey you're smiling, that's a good sign right?" She let out a cheerful laugh and watched him. Brown eyes looking at him intently, she wasn't staring, exactly. She also wasn't exactly trying to hide the fact that she was looking at him. Why hide it if you think someone is cute? She never followed those petty school girl rules. If she liked someone, she did something about it.
She smirked "You guessed right." Her small hands were perched on her hips and her head tilted slightly to the side as she watched him. Blonde hair falling slightly in her eyes, with one hand she brushed it away easily. "No, I'm definitely not. To much happening right here" After her statement she batted her eyelashes at him. Though not in that weird extreme way, where everyone can see. Just speeding up her blinking ever so slightly, almost where someone wouldn't notice. A genuine grin lit up her face as he laughed at her comment. "I think you're warming up to me" She said with a chuckle. With a shrug of her shoulders she answered his comment. "Darling, I'm the best of the best at that." She paused, feigning a look of thoughtfulness. "Unless the people I'm with can't take a joke."
